So many things can play a part in it the styles and fashion that your family wants to wear. It could be peers, celebrities, and even broadcast media. For example, if you watch a movie or TV show, especially one that is really a hit, feature Nike athletic clothing, you will quickly start seeing the same clothing being worn by people on the street. Not only that, your children will also starting asking for particular brands and leaning towards certain trends in fashion. The question is, how as a parent do you dictate what your child wears? If you have reign over their spending money then you are not in such a daunting position. However, when your child earns their own pocket money what can you do? Don’t fret because you’re worried that you’re daughter might wear something too inappropriate – there is still hope! If your child is athletic, you can give possibly meet them half way by buying them Nike clothing for wear during exercise or other physical activities. If the desired clothing isn’t practical then you may have a little more trouble swaying your child’s wants.

Ultimately, your son or daughter will be exposed to thousands of brand and propaganda marketing, so don’t be surprised if they feel as if they need the latest clothing. Weren’t you the same at their age?
